Parramatta River Project
Project Overview

Overview
Envirocivil partnered with the City of Parramatta to deliver key components of the Parramatta River Drainage and Cleaning Project, an initiative focused on improving water quality and enhancing aquatic habitats in one of Sydney’s most iconic waterways.
Our scope of work included the removal of built-up sediment and waste from key stormwater outlets discharging into the river, helping to restore proper flow, reduce environmental pollutants, and protect marine biodiversity.
With a strong focus on environmental preservation, our team executed each stage using eco-friendly methods and equipment, minimising disruption to surrounding flora and fauna. This project formed part of a broader commitment to “Making the Parramatta River swimmable again” under the City of Parramatta’s City in Nature initiative.
